About Solomon Tri-Modal


Solomon Tri-Modal (S3M) was founded in 1994 by Sol Katz, a pioneer in the marine container industry.  The mission of S3M is the design and development of new products and services intended to increase marine shipper productivity.

As an example, S3M's GeoContainer increases payload by as much as 32% for many marine shippers including pallet shippers, cube sensitive shippers, and over-size products shippers.  In addition, the GeoContainer optimizes the legal box sizes between Europe and the U.S., Canada, and South America thereby minimizing the need for and cost of unnecessary handling.

As another example, S3M's SolChassis was specially designed to permit the free movement of the GeoContainer throughout Europe.
